Oracle Warehouse Management Functional Analyst

The position is responsible for implementing and supporting the Oracle
Warehouse Management System application, including MobileApps using RF
scanning devices, and also involving integration with order
management, accounting/finance, merchandising, EDI and other supply
chain applications. The individual will perform functional analyst
duties along with some technical support activities. Distribution
facilities to be supported include US and international locations.

Primary Responsibilities
• Design and develop WMS warehousing and supply chain technical
solutions to support business user requirements.
• Serve as functional and technical application expert in development,
implementation and support of Oracle WMS.
• Provide expertise and assistance to members of the development team
in the design, build, and implementation of WMS technology solutions
and tools.
• Develop documentation that describes functional design, technical
deliverables and processes as required for internal controls, and so
that maintenance responsibility can be passed on to the IT production
support team.
• Coordinate and lead user training and acceptance testing, including
development of user guides and test scripts for WMS and related supply
chain functionality implementation.
• Ability to learn new third party application to support warehouse
activities like Descartes Transportation Management System
• Ensure that best practices and company standards are followed in the
system development lifecycle as dictated by company policy and general
system controls guidelines.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with
management, team members, subject matter experts and end-users.
• Maintain a safe work environment in the performance of all job
responsibilities.
• Should be able to estimate the project duration, contribute on the
project planning and documentation standards.


Job Qualifications
• Minimum of two six years work experience as in an Oracle
Applications (eBusiness Suite) project or support environment,
including hands-on WMS and MobileApps functional experience. Must have
three years as a WHMS functional expert.Ideally should have
implemented 4-5 WMS projects end to end.
• Working knowledge of the following a PLUS:
o Oracle PL/SQL
o Oracle Developer 2000 (Forms/Reports)/Designer
o Discoverer reports
o Application interfaces
o Oracle XML Publisher
o RF bar code scanning devices and applications
o Bar code labeling software and hardware

• EDI implementation experience considered a strong plus
• Background should include some experience with client-server
architectures, databases (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server) and development
platforms (.NET and Java). - This s desired / not essential.
• Demonstrated initiative and innovation; experience with high levels
of accountability
• Knowledge on AIM standards and documentation,
• Process and functional knowledge on Oracle Order Management is big
plus
• Possess strong analytical skills.
• Possess strong verbal and written communications skills and the
ability to effectively communicate in English with management and
staff at all levels, including other technical resources.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
