Oracle Manufacturing Systems Architect
Responsible for developing the strategic solution and architecture
in the key areas of manufacturing
Must be able to develop strategic vision and action plan to drive
strategy into projects
Clear understanding of manufacturing operations especially in the
electronics area.
Works closely with program and project sponsors to clearly define/
achieve solution/project objectives, scope, schedule and budget
Validates the architecture against requirements and assumptions
Creates models and component and interface specification documents
Identifies existing architectural problems and limitations and make
improvements
Works with IT Directors to establish and manage communications
including management status reports
Works with program and project sponsors and IT Directors to develop
detailed budgets and staffing plans for annual budgeting process
Works with program and project sponsors and IT Directors to develop

Develop strategies to transition multiple legacy applications to
fewer, more integrated, commercial off-the-shelf applications with
significantly fewer integration points.
Establish technical standards, mentor and provide technical
direction to technical teams
Required Skills:
B.S. in Operations Research, Computer Science, Mechanical
Engineering or closely related degree. Master’s preferred.
5 to 7+ years of experience with Oracle E-Business Order Management
and Supply Chain modules.
Must have had experience in any of the following Oracle modules: :
INV, WIP (work in progress), MRP, WMS (Warehouse Management System),
MES.
Prior experience in a lean manufacturing environment is essential.
Deep knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, pacemaker scheduling/sequencing, e-
KanBan, and pull triggers is highly desirable
Prior experience with some of the following pieces: .Net, SOA
(Service Oriented Architecture), Java, Database knowledge, MS SQL
Must be willing to travel to Company’s various manufacturing
facilities. Travel: 30-40% of the time. |
