SOFTPATH IS LOOKING FOR A ORACLE HRMS/HRIS TECHNICAL CONSULTANT

Job Description:

The Technical Consultant - Application Development of Corporate
Systems reports to the Manager of Corporate Systems. This technologist
works closely with customers in Human Resources, system
administrators, business analysts and team members, to understand
business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality
technical solutions. These solutions will be based on the Oracle
application e-business suite and must be aligned with business and IT
strategies and comply with the organization's architectural
standards.

Involved in the full systems life cycle and is responsible for
designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining and supporting
applications software that is delivered on time and within budget.
Makes recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of
existing code. Has experience in systems analysis, design and a solid
understanding of development, quality assurance and integration
methodologies.

Strong customer communication skills are required, along with a solid
foundation with Oracle HRMS, Oracle relational databases, PL/SQL,
Oracle Reports and Oracle Forms. Specific Oracle Modules include HR,
Advanced Benefits, Payroll, Self Service, Learning Management and
iRecruiting. Experience with Oracle Workflow is strongly desired.
Knowledge of Oracle Financials modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM and
iExpense) is not required but would be considered a plus.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
* Intermediate professional level role.
* Develops solutions requiring analysis and research.
* Works on small to large, complex projects that require increased
skill in multiple technical environments and possesses knowledge in a
specific business area.
* Ability to multi-task on one or more projects as a team member or
occasionally as a project lead.
* May coach more junior technical staff.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or
other related field (or equivalent work experience).
* Minimum of 7 years of programming / systems analysis experience
with Oracle HRMS applications.

Requirements gathering and Strong comm skills (both documentation and
verbal)
*7+ years of experience in Oracle HRMS, PL/SQL, Oracle Reports and
Oracle Forms
*Specific Modules include HR, Advanced Benefits, Payroll,
*Self Service, Learning Management and iRecruiting

*Highly desirable - Experience in Oracle Workflow.
*Desired but not required - Knowledge of Oracle Financials modules
(GL, AP, AR, FA, CM and iExpense

* Proven track record supporting corporate customers in Human
Resources.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience with the Oracle Application suite and knowledge of key
relationships / dependencies across the HRMS and other Oracle
application suite modules.
* Possesses an in-depth knowledge of the principles, theories,
practices and techniques for developing and implementing systems and
development projects and programs.
