Large Company in Phoenix Arizona area (Scotsdale) has 2 openings for
Oracle DBAs
with 8i and 9i experience.

Company will consider candidates with outside the area,
but No relocation assistance is provided.

Base salary is in the 75-90K range..depends on experience.

*Requirements:

-5+ yrs experience as a production Oracle DBA in Oracle 8i and 9i
-Must have Oracle 9i RAC administration and implementation experience
-Strong experience in performance tuning & query optimization
-Strong experience in SQL and PL/SQL
-Strong UNIX experience, AIX
-Analyze and detect performance issues
-Analyze and recommend database and UNIX configuration parameters.
-Setup and maintain documentation and standards
-Performance tuning which includes performing table level I/O tuning.
-Determine and manage application indexes necessary to optimize
database performance.

Preferred skills:
-Shell or Perl scripting experience
-Dataguard administration experience
-RMAN, hot and cold backup/recovery experience

*Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
