Contract-to-Hire position within it's database team. I will only be

This position is in the IT Database Service Team. This DBA position
exists to provide analytical, technical, and administrative support for
the Oracle databases hosted within the datacenter. Responsible for
creating and maintaining database objects from development design
requirements, maintaining database security, monitoring and optimizing
database performance, copying data from one database to another,
monitoring space allocation, participating in project releases,
assisting developers/testers with Oracle questions, and
trouble-shooting problems in a development and production environment.

1. Working knowledge with Oracle databases and SQL query language.
2. Working knowledge of database concepts.
3. Working knowledge of underlying OS UNIX or LINUX systems
4. Experience with physical and logical Oracle database configuration,
database monitoring, and trouble-shooting Oracle database in a UNIX
environment.
5. Experience in performance tuning SQL.
6. Experience in shell and perl scripting desirable.
7. Knowledge of PL/SQL desirable.

The preferred years of experience for this position are 3 years or
more.
The preferred level of education for this position is a Bachelor's
Level Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Required to work on call.
