SUMMARY

Responsible for maintaining the company's Sun Oracle Financials and
Procurement (Release 11i infrastructure) and stand alone Oracle RDBMS
(8i/9i) using Third parties / Custom clients in all environments (test,
development and production). Oracle applications include G/L, A/P,
F/A, A/R, Cash Management, Purchasing, Inventory and Order Management.
This opportunity also requires the candidate to be responsible for
upgrading the current applications environment and stand alone RDBMS to
new Releases as necessary. Knowledge in upgrading, installing, and
supporting Oracle 10G is a definite plus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Maintain the Oracle Applications 11i environment (database,
application client/server tiers, etc.).
*Implement Oracle Applications 11i environment (database, application
client/server tiers, etc.).
*Resolve technical issues with the Oracle Application 11i environments
and Oracle third parties/Customer environment.
*Monitor system performance and tune when applicable.
*Apply software patches released by Oracle.
*Coordinate with other business functional groups affected by
applications and changes to make sure all changes are performed
correctly.
*Develop documentation relative to technical aspects to facilitate
current support, development, upgrades or migrations.
*Develop application architecture and participate in overall technical
architecture design.
*Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plan.
*Assist in the conversion from Legacy systems to Oracle/Custom
11i environment.

Must be local to Dallas, Texas
