Administer and support relational database management system (RDBMS)
software, and data, and infrastructure in the Liberty's open computing
environment. Install, configure, create and maintain databases systems
and related software products in a manner consistent with existing
service level agreements. Conduct performance and tuning analysis,
capacity planning, workload modeling and prediction, systems support,
long-term strategic planning, application support and optimization,
problem resolution tracking, and software upgrades. Ensure data
recovery and space requirements for physical databases.

*Expertise in key database administration tasks such as database
creation, maintenance, and application of patches and upgrades.
*Solid understanding of Core Oracle fundamentals including installation

of Oracle software, creation of databases, patching and upgrading of
Oracle software and database.
*Strong understanding of Oracle9i Application Server and its components
technology.
*Oracle 10g Application Server.
*Strong understaning of Oracle E-Business Suite components stack.]
*Strong understanding of the Concurrent Manager concepts.
*Strong experience with Unix Operating System and shell scripting
language.
*Strong understanding of Oracle backup and recovery tools ( eg.RMAN)
and
ability to restore and refresh databases in a timely manner.
*Expertise in Oracle middleware tools (eg:Oracle Warehouse Builder) and
utilities (eg:Oracle Enterprise Manager) to analyze and resolve
database performance and monitoring issues in a proactive manner.
