Skills Required:

Ø Basic application troubleshooting acumen in RDBMS domain.
Ø Proficient in instance and query tuning.
Ø Oracle 9i/10g development skills - PL/SQL, stored procedures,
triggers etc.
Ø Should be able to work closely with business users and should
be able to convert business requirements into technical specs and
produce deliverables.
Ø Should have OLTP/OLAP data design and modeling experience and
should be very proficient with these concepts and understand ETL
Framework
Ø Should have shell scripting and should have extensively
worked in Unix environment

Detail Job Description:
Ø Client is looking at an Application Support Role (not related
to Oracle Applications E-Business suite).These positions are for
Client's custom application in Oracle for support and further
enhancement. The position is in the Worldwide Technology DBA
Engineering department which supports infrastructure, engineering and
platform.
Ø Understand application requirements & Perform Data Modeling
Ø Developing Logical Data Model
Ø Produce Physical Data Model
Ø Develop Database scripts
Ø Tune Database & Query performance
Ø Develop stored procs, functions, views, triggers etc as
required for the application
