Position : Sr.Java Developer



Location : OH



Duration: 6+ Months

Job Description:



The programmers will provide full system development lifecycle
support including analyzing and documenting customer needs, developing
test plans, coding, testing, software migrations and upgrades,
implementing and supporting solutions. This support will be provided
for both production defects, that is, regular system maintenance,
system enhancements, and software upgrades. The efforts of the
programmer/analysts will be completed according to MIS policies and
procedures. Prepare times estimates and create project plans and
updates/status. Perform software upgrades/migration and testing of the
software to ensure stability of new versions. Script creation for
database utilities/functions. The programmer/analysts will work with
the staff, as assigned, to effect the agreed upon solutions. Providing
24 by 7 production support if required.







Required Experience:



Position classification and job experience qualifications for two (2)
of the four (4) candidates are as follows:



Senior Java System/Analyst and/or Programmer/Analyst



Java Programmer/Analyst Qualifications:



· Minimum of 72 months experience coding in Java 1.4 or higher



· A minimum of 60 months experience Struts 1.2 experience or
higher



· A minimum of 36 months experience in Hibernate 2.0 or higher



· A minimum of 60 months experience in JSP (Java Server Pages)



· A minimum of 36 months experience writing scripts (UNIX /
PL/SQL)



· A minimum of 24 months experience working within an AIX 5.2
operating system environment or higher



· A minimum of 24 months experience working within an Oracle 9i
database environment or higher



· A minimum of 96 months coding against Oracle databases
within an IBM UNIX AIX environment



· At least 12 months experience working in an Oracle 10g
database and application server environment a plus but not required.



· Must be able to use Microsoft Project, Word, PowerPoint and
other Microsoft office

tool suite



In addition, they may be required to carry a pager and/or cellular
phone (at the vendor's expense). There are no reimbursable expenses.
