I need some suggestion on howz the SAP market and whats most popular in

US

for my introduction,I do not have any IT experience.. my basic skill
set are the courses i took in undergrad.. i.e. C, Unix etc...
i have an experience of 1+ yr in Electrical and planning to move to
IT.. i've been a little confused with what to do...
after some research i came dn to SAP BW.... but I am not sure if its
good enough in terms of job market and required experience...
I did talk to some one else and they suggested that Netweaver EP 6 was
the best... but that needs some pre-requisite Java knowledge...
so what do u think.... its good to learn java now and do EP in sometime

or just get started with BW?

any suggestion/advise will be well appreciated.
