Accessing Oracle database through peoplesoft? - 03-25-2007 , 12:51 PM

Hi,

Is it possible to access Oracle database through peoplesoft? Are there
any APIs in peoplesoft that can be called externally from middle layer
or presentation layer to connect to the the Oracle database ? Any help
will be appreciated.
