Position Overview:
Responsible for the analysis, design, engineering, and deployment of
multi-dimensional databases that provide value added reporting and
critical informational answers for the client's business. The position
will also assist in on-going production support and Disaster Recovery.

Responsibilities:
** In conjunction with the Finance Department, this candidate will
assist in developing Hyperion Planning and Hyperion Essbase
applications for financial accounting management

** Will analyze and design, using dimensional modeling and working in
Hyperion.

** The position would also analyze and design various analytical "what
if" processing that will tap into the financial databases

** Also, in conjunction with other department**s needs, help to
analyze and design business intelligence reporting using dimensional
modeling using Hyperion Financial Reports, SmartView for Office and
Web Analysis (Analyzer)

** On-going production support of the Hyperion environment and
applications created within Hyperion

** Mentoring and coaching of junior members of the Hyperion team


Requirements:
** Bachelor**s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in
IT

** Minimum of three years of multi-dimensional modeling is required

** Knowledge of financial processes utilizing Hyperion

** Experience with latest Hyperion Version ** System 9

** Knowledge of Hyperion application product suite (Planning, Essbase,
SmartView, Financial Reports, Web Analysis, etc.) is required

** Experience in building OLAP reports, charts and pivots required

** Working knowledge of Oracle database views and schema structure

** Excellent communications skills required

** Experience in Accounting and/or Finance is a plus

** Portal administration is a plus
