Full time position in Hartford, CT on the IT side for a Hyperion
Essbase Developer - System 9
This hiring company has enjoyed a fairly stable history over the past

Duties/responsibilities/requirements include the following:

• 7 – 10 years IT background
• Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance to Hartford, CT
• No visa sponsorship or transfers
• Very good interpersonal/communication skills
• Strong Hyperion Essbase development skills/experience (full life
cycle)
• Formulate and define system scope and objectives
• Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering
hardware capacity/limitations, operating time and form of desired
results
• Interface/interaction with business units/users to gather business
requirements and translate/prepare detailed technical specifications
• Design, code, test, debug, and document programs
• Provide technical leadership on complex projects
• May act as expert in business applications and/or cross functional
areas
• Provide guidance and training to less experienced staff
• Able to create and manage Hyperion Planning applications
• Able to optimize data loads and calculations within ASO and BSO
Essbase architecture
• Administer, install, configure and optimize Hyperion System 9
(Essbase, Planning, Financial Reporting and Web Analysis)
