This is a customer-facing role requiring excellent communication,
presentation, and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities include
working with the finance community (across the enterprise) to perform
requirements gathering / analysis, and then working with the
development team, internal and external, for systems implementation.

Responsibilities include
• Providing specialist level functional and development knowledge in
designing Hyperion System 9 solutions;
• Understanding the business process and how the application supports
those proceses
• Understanding of dependencies and interrelationships between
separate functional Hyperion modules among forms, business rules, calc
scripts, variables and the Essbase databases
• Maintain the interface points between Hyperion Planning and other
applications
• Perform ETL processes
• Lead user requirements gathering and conduct documentation designs
• Provide alternatives based on best practices and application
functionality
• Develop functional specs and work with technical resources to
complete object development and testing
• May lead and coordinate the work of a small project team
• Provide leadership in the development of functional skills to others
• Develop relationships within the company to leverage firm assets


Qualifications include
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, MIS or related
• 5 years experience in the Hyperion space with 1-2 years with System
9
• 2 years project management or work scheduling experience
• Extensive financial process and functional knowledge
• Demonstrated project management, work planning and prioritization
skills for a small group
• At least 2 full life cycle Hyperion projects
• Hyperion Essbase is a must have
Desirable qualifications
• Experience with Hyperion Planning and HFM
• Experience with SAP BW or the SAP finance module
• Experience with Business Objects or Hyperion Enterprise
