Niche Technologists, Inc., in business since 1993, is an IT consulting
and staffing company with a strong presence in the BI sector and
clients from Oregon to New Hampshire.

We are currently looking to hire a Senior Business Objects Developer
consultant for a long-term project in NY City (start date in July).

This is a senior technical, hands-on developer role requiring
functioning autonomously with little supervision. The work includes
participating in data modeling to develop and maintain BI data
repositories including data marts and universes, collaborating with
business users, business analysts, and other developers to understand,
analyze and develop BI solutions.

Requirements
• 5+ years of Business Objects in design and development of Universes
and Reports. Experience with BO XI R2 is required
• 5+ years developing complex SQL queries, and PL/SQL procedures to be
used as data providers to create and test Business Objects Reports
• Experience gathering operational and analytical requirements from
business users
• Strong knowledge of and adherence to development methodologies,
standards and best practices
• Able to multitask and work effective with little supervision
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in
writing
• No H1B’s or other visas as we are not currently sponsoring
