Remember Lotus Improv from the early 1990s? Quantrix from
www.quantrix.com to be released shortly provides similar
functionality. Would be interesting to see how this compares with
current OLAP products.

Ajith

The problem with Improv, if my memory serves me correct, was that it never
handled sparsity very well and was not a client server application.
Hopefully the Quantrix application does not have these issues. But, why
would anyone would want to go any other route than MS AS route now would be
interesting? They would have to have some unique leading-edge functionality
for this to be considered. There are so many pluses for the MS AS
environment!
