Default PowerPlay Cube Datasource - 01-30-2006 , 10:31 AM

Is it possible to use a MS-SQL Server table directly as the datasource
for a PowerPlay Cube? Currently, I use a MS-Access file as the
intermediary. The Access file has either an Access query on the SQL
table, or an ODBC pass-thru query on the SQL table. TIA.

Create an .iqd file using either Impromptu or Framework Manager against the
source SQL Server table. This will allow you to skip the Access db and go
straight to the sql server source db.
