New vendors are coming up with newer techniques of OLAP. Mondrean is one on the ROLAP front. Check with intellicus for fully web based OLAP solution. I would not be surprised if it is similar to Alea/TM1 as I believe the company is run by the brother of the former Managing Director of MIS. |

Well that would be intersting wouldn't it! A high quality free OLAP that allowed you to report and plan would really throw the cat amongst the vendor pigeons ;-) If the Open Source OLAP was a high quality as some of the other Open Source stuff I have used in say e-learning, then this would be great news for us consultants but not so good for the software salesmen.
