What are we looking for ???

Hyperion Essbase Technical Consultant

Responsibilities
Would work with our Fortune 10 Client at Ireland for 6 months and then
move to US for assignments of longer duration.

** Code and test extraction transformation and load programs
** Develop and maintai! n data source to target data mapping
** Build and support the Planning Metadata repository, including
defining data standards and naming conventions
** Assist in the design of an efficient, reliable Essbase, Planning
cube
** Create calculation scripts as per business logic
** Assist in the development and optimization of reports and queries
using Analyzer, Excel addin and Hyperion Reports
** Be able to perform database optimization
** Perform unit and system testing and data validation
** Automate data load activities by writing Esscmd/MaxL scripts.
** Write shell scripts to perform other maintenance tasks like
backup/recovery etc

Required skills:
** 2- 6 years of IT services industry experience as a developer/analyst
** Atleast 1-2 full life cycle of Hyperion Essbase/Planning/HFM
(Hyperion Financial Management) implementation experience OR Experience
of 2-3 Hyperion Essbase/Planning/HFM system maintenance/support and
enhancement projects as an administrator
** Should have worked on EssCMD, maxl, Hyperion analyzer, reports, any
skills on planning is a plus
** Hands-on experience including experience on optimizing and fine
tuning Databases
** Good oral communication skills to be able to participate in internal
team meetings and weekly meetings with the customer
** Good E-mail communication skills to be able to write clear,
effective and to the point E-mails within team and to the customer

Job location: Ireland (6 months) and US (longer assignment)
Should be available in 10-15 days
Should be open to work in shifts.
