Default OLAP Reports - 11-15-2003 , 11:47 PM

Hi, I have a PowerPlay (Cognos BI) CUBE interface which is looking at
a Virtual CUBE conteining , among other, a Time Dimention.
The pronlem is : The Power Play always open at the Top time Level
(Like 2003). I want a way to tell PowerPlay to open and slice in the
week level, for example. I understood there are Macros and scripts.
Can any one say what are the command I should use, so I can check them
in the manual?

Thanks a lot in advance!

Why not just save a report at the dimension level that you want to start in?

Because if I will save the roprt this week, I someone will open it
next week he will get this week level (in Time Dim) and not the next
week. Any Idea?

Create a time dimension called "current week"...

I think RMRose means to create a relative time category which points to
current week. This is one of the defaults supplied with Transformer so it
shouldn't be too difficult.

You could likely also create a report which uses an advanced subset to
achieve the same results.
