Hi,

I´m trying to do a query using MDX against BW 3.0.b using ODBO but I
can't find good information about how to install ODBO, and how to
connect it to BW. Does anybody known where could I find the basis and
samples of MDX's querys, a good manual? Has anybody do anything with
MDX and ODBO against BW?

Thanks in advance

Rodolfo

Hi there,

you will find some documentation under http://help.sap.com. The ODBO
provider is being installed with the SAP GUI, especially the Addons for SAP
BW. You can download SAP GUI from the SAP marketplace if you are a SAP
customer. Regarding Cognos: It depends which tool you want to use: CRN uses
OLAP BAPI which is also installed with the SAP BW addons, Series 7 uses
ODBO. Both interfaces are being registered during installation so your
software (Cognos) should show it in the Connection dialog.

Regards,

Joerg
