Overview
This position manages a small team of program management personnel to
include a Governance Manager and Program Coordinator. Responsible for
management of project managers and project teams. Integrated with the
IT ERP, Data Warehousing, and Administration disciplines of
Applications Management.
Purpose
· Overarching responsibility for managing and coordinating all BPM
projects on a global basis including resources, budget, dependencies,
milestones, stakeholders and timelines. Works as part of the BPM
department within IT and insures all projects are implemented per
global standardization approach specifications.
Duties - representative of the nature and level of work assigned but
not necessarily all-inclusive
· Responsible for educating and enforcing a disciplined approach to
Program and Project Management leveraging the client's project
management framework policies, procedures, tools and utilities
· Establish, maintain and communicate the project framework in
accordance with the PMO
· Liaise with PMO to insure all tools, policies, forms and procedures
are kept current
· Liaise with IRP and Capital Effectiveness to insure AFEs are
completed and presented in accordance with IRP and AFE review schedule
· Develop and establish Global Standards and Controls
· Insure the implementation of Global Standards and Controls in
existing applications and new project implementations
· Develop metrics and guidance for benchmarking performance of BPM
projects
· Set guidance and framework for the design / implementation / and
maintenance of Governance Model(s), and insure integration with PMO
Governance Model 9s)
· Evaluate and prioritize project work using capital effectiveness and
IRP
· Comply with policies, standards, and controls
Working conditions
· This is a Denver based position that may require travel to locations
throughout the world where services and amenities are minimal
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information
systems, or related computer oriented field
· At least 8 years experience in the design, implementation and
management of global IT programs
· Hyperion BPM projects a definite advantage
· Project Management certification (PMI) required
· Must have working experience with products and service vendors, and
outsourcing contracts
