Overview
This role is 1 of 2 administrators in the Finance Department
responsible for day2day maintenance/support of about 12 Hyperion
Essbase/Planning applications and FDM (e.g., updates to substitution
variables, adding dimension members to hierarchies, running AGG and
copy scripts, creating/maintaining web forms, etc.). This position
also assists in special projects from time2time.

Relocation assistance is not included in the package although our
experience is that hiring companies will often reconsider depending on
difficulty in finding a qualified person to fill the position.

Other responsibilities include but are not limited to –

• Maintain security of all Hyperion applications through MSAD and
Shared Services
• Administer FDM for all instances
• Create and maintain import formats for new locations
• Create and maintain mapping for all integrations
• Create and update Hyperion Reports to stay current with user needs
• Participate in testing applications relating to upgrades and
application modifications
• Track & record all requests/changes in the ticketing tool
• Ensure adherence to policies and procedures and SOX controls
• Support end users with system or access issues
• Create and maintain system documentation
• Work with IT to resolve application issues
• Contribute to special projects on request

Qualifications (must have and desired)

Must have

• 2-5 years’ experience in Hyperion Planning or FDM administration
• Bachelor’s degree
• Intermediate or advanced level in Essbase Excel Add-in & SmartView,
MS Excel & Word
• Good independent worker and team player who requires minimal
supervision
• Excellent interpersonal / communication skills (will be
interacting / supporting end users at various organizational levels)
• Willingness to travel occasionally

Desirable

• Certification in Hyperion Planning or Essbase or FDM
• Experience with MS Visio, UltraEdit or other text editing software
• Experience that includes accounting or financial responsibilities of
some sort
• Experience with other Hyperion products such as HFM, DRM and
Financial Reports
