Job Title: Associate Manager, Business Intelligence (BI) Systems
Key Skills: Oracle Express. VBA. SQL. Sales and Marketing systems.
Job Description -
Develop BI systems using VBA, Express, SQL, and web development tools.
Consult with internal clients during the design process on optimal
technologies to solve business issues.
Assist clients in identifying BI needs, focusing on the integration of
information from retailers such as Wal-Mart, syndicated information
sources such as IRI, internal factory shipment data from SAP, and
promotion data from Siebel.
Manage medium size BI projects, estimate staffing requirements,
develop system specifications, prepare project timelines, coordinate
external suppliers, and monitor, review and report on project
progress.
Maintain current systems, implement enhancements, and update program
documentation.
Proactively identify opportunities to improve system processes and
implement the improvements.
Interface with external suppliers and IS to insure the continued
availability of systems, and provide end user support on BI systems.
Occasional week end and off hours for system testing.
Job Requirements -
4-year degree although MBA highly desirable.
10 years professional experience.
5 years of concentrated experience in BI systems development.
Minimum 1-2 years project management experience.
2-5 years hands-on VBA development experience.
2-5 years Oracle Express applications development experience.
2-5 years experience working with external data sources such as IRI or
Nielsen.
1-3 years experience with Marketing and Sales systems.
Extensive knowledge using Oracle Sales Analyzer.
Working knowledge of MS Project and MS Office Suite.
Compensation and benefits -
$85-90K, plus 10% annual bonus based on company and personal
