Job title: Director, Interactive Technology Development

This position manages a group of 10 - 15 application development staff
(software and senior software engineers, Project Managers, and Senior
Business Analysts).

In search of a Director with media industry experience who had
originally been a hands-on J2EE developer.

Requirements include

· 5+ years of web site / new media development experience in J2EE
technologies

· Experience managing staff (either direct reports or project staff),
with a minimum of 4 years managing a staff of at least 6 - 10

· Successful prototyping and bringing to market new "bleeding edge"
technologies

· Spot-on customer focus, excellent interpersonal skills, and
experience creating
documentation of technical systems, training users in complex topics,
and operational procedures

· Live within a reasonable commute distance to NY city (midtown)
