Degenerate Dimension - Invoice Numbers - 12-01-2004 , 01:49 PM

I have a fact table where I included the invoice number field. I
created a degenerate dimension and not link it to any tables. Using
temtec's executive viewer, I am able to use this dimension, but the
performance is incredibly slow. Any thoughts?
