Compression techniques used for Bitmap Indexes - 10-14-2003 , 09:09 AM

does anybody know what compression techniques are used for
bitmap-indexes (Oracle, Informix, ...). I could not find
anything about it in the docs, but probably RLE, PACK BYTES
or LZW are used, just wanted to be sure on the actually used
technique.
