I'm modeling the following situation:



I have a product from a manufacturer, the product belong to a grup, to a
category, to a sub-category and a brand.

The same product has some atributes that are independent from each
other, for example:



There's a femenine higine pad that has attributes like:

wings: yes or no

thikness: thing or regular

perfume: yes or no

protection: four wall or regular



and others attributes that are not related so it's imposible to tie them
in a hierarchy, they have to be seen at the same level.



My client wants to cross information like winged and no perfume, and
even winged and protection between to differents brands or two different
categories or different groups (cause there are menstrual pads and
tampons who have little in common but compete with each other) and many
other kind of crosses that i see hard to do them without a flat file or
a excel sheet.



If it can be done on cognos, how can i do it?? and if not, What tool
can i use??

I'm trying to do a small portion of the proyect in acces so my client
can use something meanwhile, is that possible too??
