As an end user I am trying to do a calculation on COGNOS that is a % to
a base but that option seems to automatically set a base of the coloum
total. Is there a way I can set the base myself ?

I am using it for Profit and loss reporting & need to insert a colomn
which is a percentage of the expeneses to the sales number. It seems
that you can do growth or & % to a colomn to another colomn but not to a
number to another number in the same colomn.

Can anyone help ?
