BI OLAP Pre-Sales Position in Boston, MA - 10-25-2004 , 04:56 PM
Provide senior level pre-sales product presentations and
demonstrations with the client's Enterprise BI product suite.
Responsible for providing senior pre-sales support to major and
strategic clients in the region, delivering key presentations for
seminars and strategic marketing opportunities, delivering workshops
and executing on the delivery of complex technical solutions.
Develop comprehensive technical account plans with the assigned sales
team: technically qualifying prospects, developing demonstration
criteria, trial / prototype plans and closure planning.
Provide User Group and trade show support.
Perform advanced or complex prototyping for the BI and CPM product
Perform needs analysis and RFP / RFI responses.
Perform senior level Account Management duties.
Follow through on accounts for functional / technical issues related
to sales cycle.
Reside in the Boston, MA area.
3+ years in a software pre-sales environment (OLAP highly preferred).
programming skills, languages, and database concepts.
Able to act independently during sales opportunities.
Able to plan and execute a trial closure plan in a timely fashion.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Familiar with end-user reporting environments and OLAP.
Must be willing and able to travel (about 50%, maybe more), and enjoy
working in a sales environment.
Compensation package will depend on experience but should fall in the
$140K range with salary and bonus.
