Senior Business Intelligence Analyst
Full-time position (not consulting) in Madison, WI for a BI Analyst to
architect a BI solution in support of strategic and financial
operations. Relocation assistance and reimbursement of interview
travel expenses are provided, and I expect this client will want to
perform 1 or 2 HR and / or technical phone interview sessions first.
No H1s, no visa sponsorship, must be U.S. Citizen, EAD, Green Card, or
TN.
Primary responsibilities
· Primarily responsible for gathering and analyzing data in
support of creating a strategy and vision around:
o data storage (DW, OLAP, data mining)
o a delivery system (dashboards, portals, scorecards), and
o reporting.
· Will interface with all levels of the organization to access
business needs and develop a technical solution through reporting
tools and database structures.
· Will lead cross functional teams and translate sophisticated
analytics into terminology than can be easily understood by business
owners.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or Business with a
concentration in IS
· Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal) for an
audience of both technical and non-technical staff
· Experience leading the design and development of
applications and/or reporting systems
· Experience with Oracle or MS SQL Server
· Experience leading OLAP schema design and data
transformation (ETL)
· Experience with reporting tools such as Crystal Reports and/
or MS Reporting Services
· Strong / substantial knowledge of the MS Office Suite
