My dilemna is that I need to add a date dimension to our point-of-sale
cube. I read the best way to add another date dimension is to create a
view, but my question is what table to create the view from in the
subject matter database (I couldn't find a time dimension in the
staging database). My preference is that the new date dimension will
have the same members available as the time.standard dimension does.

Any suggestions?
