Default Basic questions about MicroStrategy cubes - 08-18-2004 , 01:40 PM





I am trying to gain some basic understanding of MicroStrategy MOLAP
technology.

So far my impression is that MSTR implements cubes primarily as a
caching technology rather than a complete analytic tool.

Is this true?
What are the limitations of MSTR cubes compared to Cognos cubes?
