Default OT: programming blog recommendation - 10-18-2003 , 10:35 AM

While I have just scratched the surface of the blog,
http://www.joelonsoftware.com/ seems like it might be worth reading from
time to time. I found it on a link from http://www.ok-cancel.com/ which I
also enjoyed. I found ok-cancel from one of my favourite websites:
http://www.useit.com/

I have been quite impressed with Joel on Software.

Damn! That's another of my favorite websites. I'll have to check
out ok-cancel.

Hey, Bob, do you know this one: dbdebunk.com? (Okay, now
I'm just being facetious. It's late.)

If you're into programming languages, you might like
lambda.weblogs.com

Have fun!

Me too, but everyone knows how easily impressed I am... I really wish I
could find more quality online content so that I could point to the positive
more often.

Sturgeon's rule applies on the web better than it ever did
anywhere else!

Bob, took a quick look at JoelsGoneHollywood and found profound
revelations like

- there are pro's and con's in exception handling
- there are always tradeoffs in design

This is your idea of education?

I guess thats the unique thing about cyberculture. You can join as
many cults as you wish.

No. It is my idea of one or two rather obvious observations on a blog.
I have stated many times that one cannot get an education online.
