Default Developement of OODB - 03-04-2005 , 04:20 AM

Hi guyz,
Well i have to simulate a database using "flat file
storage system" on linux platform using C++.

Can someone suggest me a place on the web where i can
get the source code for this?Honestly speaking i am not convinient with
system APIs for file manipulations. The flat files system should support
the following functionalities:
1.Opening,closing files
2.Writing records,reading records
3.Updating and deleting records

On the top of this flat files i have to develop an
object layer(in other words,simulate OODB).However that i will and i
can do on my own.

Any help is extremely welcome.

Thanking in advance.

bye,

ben.

The core Open Source OOFILE does everything you want and has been in use
for a range of Linux-based c++ compilers for years.
