/usr/local/mysql/share/mysql/english/errmsg.sys

Using ubuntu 11
Installed netbeans mysql glassfish version bundle
Database connection worked after install.
Once machine was rebooted I am unable to start db server as get the following error message

/usr/local/mysql/share/mysql/english/errmsg.sys

Any ideas?

What's in your MySQL error log?

the directory exists but can not find a ny log file. What would the nameof the file be?

This is a configuration parameter in MySQL. I don't know where Ubuntu
puts it. You'll probably have to ask ubuntu.

Do you know anything about Linux installation/administration?

Hmm... That's often set in my.cnf, innit? Though if Mark's having
trouble finding the logs, finding my.cnf might present a similar
challenge...
