Jerry

Is this my mistaken use of the word 'session'?

If not how can I retrieve the data which the user creates when he
answers questions from different sections during his time at the site
(a session!)? Assuming the data for different sections goes into
separate tables.

Separate tables will be needed as a user may answer questions from at
least 1 section and a maximum of 12 sections (each section having 10
questions with 5 bits a data for each question).

Geoff

Why are separate tables required? You've already been told how to
normalize your data properly.
'sorry - I missed the point of the section value ..

Cheers

Geoff

Hahaha. Stupid at work. As usual.

Of course MySQL does have sessions.
For what else would it have session variables or
a session status?

Still nobody was talking about MySQL sessions in
this thread. Up to now.

Stoopid idiot. Not in way Geoff was talking about. But then you've
never been in the real world, so you wouldn't understand the difference.
All you know is someone used the word "session".

No wonder experienced DBA's look at MySQL as a toy database, with posts
like this from someone who works for MySQL. You are MySQL's worst enemy.

You can deal with your fears about measuring up by means other than
being a bully, Mr. Stuckle.

Precisely. Neither Geoff nor anybody else here
was talking about MySQL sessions.

If you understand that, then why did you start
that topic? And why with a false claim?

You can take your self-serving attitude and stuff it where the sun
doesn't shine. Then it will be right next to your head.

But then trolls like you never do add anything of value to a conversation.

I didn't start the conversation. You're the one who brought up MySQL
sessions - no one else did. And I didn't start the conversation about
sessions - I responded to Geoff's questions about sessions.

But you don't understand that, either.
