Default Is someone using Libre Office Base with MySQL? - 07-08-2011 , 02:04 AM

I have got a strange behaviour of Libre Office Base with a remote MySQL.

The database loads, but i can only get _the first character of each field_.
I have got that behaviour on LibreOffice for Windows and LibreOffice for
Mac, on Neooffice for Mac and OpenOffice altogether (they currently
share the same code).

Can someone confirm with his own database?

Does a workaround exist?

Does someone know a "sandbox" database to make a cross check?

Regards
Laszlo

and a MySQL 5.0.67 database on a Linux machine

Thank you for the feed-back.
Hmm, it will be a bit more difficult to find out.
I hope getting from someone another sandbox database, to figure out if
it is related to special settings of that database.
I would exclude driver problems, since i have got exactly the same
picture on Windows and Mac version, using completely different drivers.

Thank you again.

Laszlo
