I disagree about the comma being silly ... :-)) The 'silly' part was just tongue-in-cheek, Brian. There's no right or wrong way of seperating the parts, as languages and customs/rules are simply different. I wrote "silly comma" with a Big Grin, but there was no way of telling, since I intentionally omitted a smiley. We have both Europeans and Americans in this group, and sometimes (not often) we encounter typical differences, which - if one is in one of those moods - may lead to a bit of irony towards the 'other denizens'. Just smile, then ignore....or top the remark. |
