But honestly, I doubt you can do it better. Or that you ever will write it better. Because that's harder than trolling in usenet. Which is actually the only thing I've seen from you so far. |

But the good side is, once you get familiar enough with it, it does become easier. However, it seems some people forget what it's like to be starting out. It's not that he hadn't got enough hints where things are explained. Also some basic knowledge about Unicode, i.e. the difference between a code point and an encoding sequence, is a requirement for anybody who has to deal with multilingual HTML. XL |

So how to decide if that third byte represents a 1-byte character or is the first byte of a multibyte sequence? ![]() |
