Hello All!!

Windows Update keeps telling me SP4 for 2005 needs to be installed. I've
done it several times. I've even download the sp from Microsoft and done a
manual install. Same thing. I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks.

SP4 is installed, but keeps coming up in the Windows Update. I know I can
hide that, but I'd rather fix the problem.

Thanks.

Have you tried the following:

1. Disable Windows Update Service
2. Move the directory C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution to a different
location
3. Enable Windows Update Service
4. Reboot

Perhaps this will fix it?

Best,
Henk

This may be more of a problem with Windows Update than SQL Server, so
I think Hide is the right path.
