Maybe you just mistyped the password?

In any case, always include the error message when ask about something.

What password?

I do not have my computer in a secured location. (It is in my
apartment.) I am the only one here. If someone else gets in,
passwords are the least of my problems.

I wanted something that worked, so I just skipped to the next
try. If I am daring, I may try a reinstallation at a later date.
Then, I will record all of the error messages that I get hit by.

Sincerely,

Gene Wirchenko

Your Windows password.

Maybe that is the problem. The dialog may not be written to support blank
passwords.

I have passwords on my computers at home. They are set to autologin, so
normally they don't serve any purpose. But if I have someone working at
home, I can hibernate them. In this case, Windows asks for passwords when
it start the machine.

It was not a problem in my previous installation.
