Default MS SQL SERVER 2008 intellisence - 11-08-2011 , 09:44 AM

Hello,

I am using MS SQL server 2008 on windows 7 platform.

I have tried every method available on internet to enable the SQL
server intellisence( feature which promts you name of tables, columns,
stored proc as you go on typing). But couldn't enable it.

I also have to work on schemas MS SQL SERVER 2000 and 2005.

Even if I can enable intellisence on MSSQL SERVER 2008, it won't work
for 2000 and 2005 since this feature is provided with MS SQL SERVER
2008 only.

Can anybody provide me the crack for tools like SQL assistance ir SQL
prompt or any other tool which works on windows 7.

Currentlt I have trial versions of both of these.

Thanks in advance.

Then you have to leave SSMS ... it works for 2008 only!

Intellisense in SSMS 2008 only works when you are connected to SQL 2008.

You could try a third-party tool like SQL Prompt from Red Gate.
