How to fix error 207 in ms sql server 2000 with out applying SP4

I recall that some people ran into problems when applying SP4, and one
thing I recall was if you had SQL Litespeed installed with some macro
expansion enabled, you ran into trouble with some sort of compilation
error. Whether it was 207 I don't remember.
