Domain policy to disable XP firewall causes SQL client slowdown - 07-24-2007 , 11:51 AM

I don't full have details yet but was hoping somebody has seen this before.
A domain group policy change was made to disable the Windows XP firewall.
This seems to have caused an SQL client app to login and run very slow.
