Dear Candidate,

Job Title : BI ETL Developer

Location : San Francisco, CA

Job Type : 6 Months Contract

Position Description:

The Role we are looking for is a Senior hands-on BI developer who has
deep experience with BI technologies, to design, develop, and test
ETL, Reports, and related infrastructure solutions. Participate in
ensuring proper technical architecture, design and documentation, as
well as help diagnose production systems issues to identify causes in
software. Participate in enhancing processes for ETL design, source
code control, unit testing, and defect management. Participate in
planning of development projects. BI infrastructure is made up of
Business Objects (Webi, Deski, Data Integrator), PLSQL, Shell/Perl
scripts, and SPSS.

Required Skills/Experience:

5-10 years of experience in BI, DWH. Experience with at least one
major ETL tools (i.e. Informatica, Ab Initio, etc). Independent, self-
motivated team player. Meticulous and methodical in creating
solutions. Ability to work with internal business units to develop
solutions in a timely fashion. Strong analytical and problem solving
skills. Strong written/oral communication skills. Strong database
experience (incl. SQL, tuning, etc.), Oracle required. Experience at
fast-paced Internet companies a big plus US work authorization
required

Desired Skills/Experience:

Experience with Business Objects Version XI Release 2/3

Experience with Business Objects Data Integrator

Large data volume experience

Agile Software development
