Office 2003. Create a new Word doc set to merge against a query based
on parameters on a form and execute the merge: everything works fine.

close the doc and reopen it and it not only says it can't find the
data source, but when I re-point to the query it still says it can't
find it. If I remove the header during open, and then re-point to the
data source it will work.

I just tried it on my local machine and it closes and opens fine - it
appears to be a problem with the client's Office of network config.

I tried putting the doc in the same directory as the DB - nada. BTW,
there is a tendency in this shop for Word to forget the "conversion on
open" option; not sure if that is significant.

Any ideas?
