Default Windows screensaver lock - locks access front end - 04-24-2009 , 01:27 PM

Hello All,
I searched for this here and the web - still in the dark....I may be
asking the wrong questions

I need to lock an access database after X mins for privacy reasons and
using the simplest method I set the screen saver to lock a after x
mins of inactivity - no problem there. However, once I log back in,
my access database is not usable and unresponsive. (Access 2003 & XP,
split database on a network) -

This may be a network issue rather than an access one, and I wondered
if there is a better/more stable way of dealing with the issue from
Access so I don't damage the access front end.

Many thanks
John
