Default What is the maximum number of rows I can get in Access - 08-05-2003 , 04:10 PM

I have a need to get data going back to the 1800's, and need more than
100,000 rows. How many will Access hold, and what can I use that will
go over 100,000 records?

Thanks,

Bill

Rows isn't relevant, size is.

Access 97 holds 1GB. Newer versions 2 GB.

If the total bytes per row is not large you should be fine. 100,000 rows is no big
deal for Access to handle.
