Default Using Command Buttons as Shapes - 08-18-2011 , 03:17 AM

Using Access 2010 themes, I've found that I can use command buttons as
background shapes in my forms.
It's been working fine on my XP box and Win 7 (32 bit) notebook.
I've now purchased a new box (Win 7 64 bit) and loaded the same application.
On the new box, if I hover the mouse over the command buttons, any text or
control over the buttons becomes invisible. It is as though the command
button shape is moved to the front.
I've turned off every setting which looks relevant (or perhaps relevant) in
the Properties dialog, ensured that the shapes are 'Sent to Back', set
'Enabled' to false. But still no luck.
Since it doesn't happen on the other PC's, could it be related to the video
card (intel on board)?
Has anyone else experienced similar problems?

Also I have found Office SP1 bad news, lots of corruptions. Removed it very
quickly and all back to mormal

No idea, Bob

The databases were getting so screwed up that I couldn't open them. I think
mainly due to using a referenced database form my main FE database.

The problem has now been resolved..... sort of.
For an unrelated reason, I recreated my Windows user account (with exactly
the same permissions etc) and when I login to Windows (as opposed to my
application) using the new login, the problem doesn't appear. I log out, and
in again using my original user account, and the problem is still there. I'm
opening the same application file, with the same settings and the same
Access file.
This is really spooky. Does anyone have an idea what can be going on here?
